Q: Does Rockwood issue fishing licenses?
A: Yes! We can issue your license and stamps in the outfitting building.

Q: Does Minnesota allow you to download your license to your phone?
A: Yes, for some hunting and fishing licenses there is a a mobile version. Even if you purchased one earlier you can go to this page and download a copy for your smart phone.

Q: Do kids need fishing licenses?
A: Residents of Minnesota under the age of 16, no. Both resident and non-resident 16 and 17 year olds have a special $5 license. 18-90 are a standard license. A great deal is to buy your kids or grandkids a LIFETIME Minnesota fishing license with huge discounts. All nonresidents need a license except those age 15 and younger do not need a license if a parent or guardian is licensed.

Q: Are there non-resident fishing licenses available for only a few days?
A: There are 24 hour, 72 hour, and 7 day non-resident angling license available.
