Rockwood Cabin 4

Enjoy a newer, larger cabin (up to 7 people) with two beds upstairs (great lake views through the large window) and two beds in a separate room on the main floor. A large living area and a wrap around deck within a few steps of the dock makes this a favorite cabin of many families. You can park your vehicle right next to the cabin, with no stairs to the main living area, making this our most accessible of cabins. A fire pit is available in the area between the Cabin and the lake. Firewood is available at our neighbors for $7/bundle. Open May through October; see availability calendar at the bottom of this page.

As with all our cabins, you get a canoe, charcoal and gas grills, picnic table, full kitchen, bathroom with shower, fresh linens and towels (papertowels are not provided). Our cabins have high-speed WiFi and each kitchen has essential cookware/cooking equipment, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (uses 12 cup paper filters, a few are provided), glasses, mugs, dishes and silverware so you can just bring food. Or better, enjoy one of the great restaurants on the Gunflint Trail!

Check-In:

Please check in no earlier than 3pm (bunkhouses and cabins).

Check-Out:

Please check out by 9:30am (bunkhouses and cabins).

Pet Policy:

Pets are welcome! $25 per pet/night or $150 per pet/week, please keep your pets under control at all times, and let us know if you need help watching your pet while enjoying the area.

Rentals:

Additional aluminum canoes with cabin rental are no charge; rental of Kevlar tandem canoes for 4 hours or less is half of the daily rate (around $24). Kayaks and standup paddleboards are available at no charge on a first come first served basis; we ask you to return it to outfitting when you are not using it.

Deposits:

A deposit check of one-third of the total is required within 14 days of making a reservation. Check, credit card, or ask for an online invoice.

Cabin Policy:

Each cabin has a different minimum night stay, consecutive nights – for single night stays, please reserve one of our Bunkhouse rooms.
Rates subject to 8.375% sales tax and 4% lodging tax (total 12.375%)
A deposit of one-third the total is required within 14 days of making a reservation.
Reservations made less than 72 hours before occupancy require 100% upfront payment, all of our cabins have at least a two night minimum.
If cancellation notice is given sixty days prior to your scheduled arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a $50 service charge.
We will send you confirmation of your reservation on receipt of your deposit.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover Cards, paypal, checks, and of course cash!

Cabin 4 has 3 listed as the base rate.

The base rate for each cabin is the number of people that is included in the prices below. Cabin 4 has 3 people in the listed rate and a maximum of 7 people.

Max:

Cabin 4 has a maximum of 7 people.

Minimum nights:

Cabin 4 has a 4 night minimum.

Discounts for stays over 6 nights. Single night stays are available in our Bunkhouse.
